Wow! What a line at Lake of the Pines. What are all these people standing in line for? We don't stand in lines at LOP! Why would we want that??? That would be ridiculous! Unless.... there's photo evidence..... Each person is a team captain representing 10-12 players. Everyone is hoping to get their team's favorite night to play.... and the sport is.... BOCCE BALL. So I guess that's worth standing in line once. Last year LOP had 650 registered Bocce Ball players, and this...Continue Reading!

An Unfortunate Update on the Local Deer…

said on March 13th, 2018 filed under: Localism

Golden Hills Real Estate

From the Department of Fish and Wildlife:   "Thanks to those who have helped CDFW get samples to test the deer that have been dying in the foothill communities in Nevada, and Placer counties. We have enough samples and have concluded through necropsy and testing that the die off is not related to disease. It is winterkill from overpopulation of the resident deer in these areas. The drought years allowed deer to reproduce and grow in numbers and now the resources are...Continue Reading!

CJ had a ton of fun, got to meet plenty of people (most aren't pictured), and won some awards. Take a look!     Arrival at the Peppermill in Reno... So many people!     Everyone on their best behavior at one of the seminars, all business...     ....And the same people two hours later, living it up!     Everyone got noise-makers for the awards ceremony (totally unnecessary, the crowd was huge!)     CJ was in the top 100 producers at Century 21 for 2017!       And here's CJ with Deanne!     The Badge!     The Ticket!     The Top...Continue Reading!
